The Topsy Retweet plugin for WordPress was updated to version 1.2.1 yesterday. Unfortunately this release introduced a bug that caused the buttons not to display in some cases. We've since resolved this issue, and buttons should be displaying and working as expected. If you have any issues with your retweet button, let us know by sending a note to support@topsy.com.

This morning we experienced hardware failure on one of our primary database servers. This led to degraded service for Topsy, the Otter API, and the Topsy Retweet Button for approximately 10 minutes this morning around 10:45am PST. At this time, we've recovered, and all services should be functioning normally, although hourly results will be lagged for a few minutes as we recover from the backlog created by the hardware failure.

We suffered a hardware failure in our retweet button cluster this morning around 10am PST which caused some slowness in button rendering. We've recovered and service has returned to normal.
