Zero Counts and Missing Trackbacks till late evening on Apr 14th

We had a network outage last night, which resulted in temporary loss of the data store that keep trackbacks and tweet counts. We are currently rebuilding this store and it will be available within 8 hours. While we rebuild our store, tweet counts will show as 0 and trackbacks will be missing from Topsy.com & Otter. Search and modules are not impacted.

We apologize for the inconvenience.  We always run two copies of our data stores, but we were operating on a single copy due to our data center move.  We'll be back up soon with redundancy.

No data is lost.  All counts will be restored when the data store comes back up.

We are moving our data center -- Apr 4th to Apr 11th

Over the last two months, we've been working steadily to move servers out of our current data center into a new one to expand our infrastructure. Many of the Topsy backend services are now running out of the new data center, and this week we are going to transition user facing services: Topsy.com, Otter, Modules, Button.  We've sequenced the transition to minimize impact, however, we still expect occasional short outages and periods of higher latency in answering queries. We are also planning to move our indexing services, which will introduce short delays in indexing of new tweets.
