Topsy is currently experiencing delays is result freshness.  We are working to resolve the issue.  

Topsy will begin system maintenance to add additional capacity.  During this time search results may lack freshness.

We are currently preforming server upgrades, this should take approximately 1 hour to complete.  During this time there may be some brief service interruptions.

We are currently serving queries on Topsy.com, Otter API, Topsy Analytics & Topsy Social Modules from a 45 days deep index, while we rebuild our larger index to bring you new features and faster results.  Our full index will come online in first week of October.  Till then our fresh index will serve all queries and will continue to update in real-time.

This operation will have no impact on the Topsy button, trackback pages and fresh results. However, expert search will return fewer results and all time window will be essentially the same as 45-day window.

Twitter API back and Topsy is caught up with most current results

Twitter API is delayed.  Topsy API and search result freshness impacted.

Topsy is experiencing stability and performance issues and 500 errors on Topsy.com and we are working to resolve them.
